0voteA: Sloan doesn't have a spec sheet stating how many pounds of torque the EBV-22 can handle. This strap wrench is a courtesy strap wrench in case you don't have a standard strap wrench. If you are having trouble removing the locking ring you can release the pressure at the valve body. Turn the water off to the valve at the control stop, loosen the nut on the tailpiece. Which is between the valve body and control stop. Once the pressure is released, you should be able to remove the locking ring with the EBV-22 strap wrench.Posted by Kully Supply on Thursday, November 29, 2012
