Q: I just too off solenoid to clean strainer and body when i took cap off everything feel out before i could catch it i would like to know which position to replace the spring does it go in front of pin on diaphragm or behind up in hollow area Thank You

A: Here is the order that the parts go into the brass body on this Sloan ETF-1009-A Solenoid Valve Repair Kit (Part #110816): 1st - The Diaphragm 2nd - The Pin (tip faces diaphragm) 3rd - The Spring 4th - The Guide On the side of the brass body, you will install the screen, then the plug gasket, and lastly the plug fitting.
