Q: Original issue was would not shut off, replaced batteries and now will not turn on. There is a red light on when motion is detected by sensor but water does not come on. Yes water shutoff was checked, water is on. :)

A: If you have replaced the batteries on this Sloan EBF-60-A Control Module Assembly (Part #101456) and now there is no water, there is an issue with the Solenoid Valve 1. Verify that the solenoid is connected properly. The water should flow from inlet through the Solenoid Valve to the outlet according to the direction of the arrow shown on the side of the Solenoid Valve. 2. Backflush the Solenoid Valve by reversing the water flow (opposite to the direction shown by the arrow on the side of the Solenoid Valve) through the Solenoid Valve. Reconnect the compression fittings in the correct orientation and activate the faucet. 3. If the above maintenance steps do not work, you will need to replace the Sloan EBF-1011-A Solenoid Valve Assembly (Part #106644). If you have any other questions our experts are here to help! Q: I have replace the battery in my sloan faucet EBF60A and still it is not working . Water comes out every 2 seconds and stops and senses nothing.
